how to remove deodorant marks from dark clothing

How to Get Deodorant off of Clothing

It has happened to all of us. You pull on your black (or dark colored) t-shirt, sweater, dress, jacket etc… and look down to see white deodorant marks on your clothing. It’s infuriating! And I don’t know about you, but those clear gel deodorants don’t seem to work as well for me as the white stuff. If you are looking for a FREE way to remove white deodorant stains or marks from dark colored clothing, here is a great tip for you.

Are you ready for it?

Take a black, dark brown or navy sock and wipe the deodorant off. No water or expensive stain solution required. That’s it!

I probably read this tip in a Heloise column years ago, and it really does work.

I can’t guarantee it’ll work every time, but every time that I have personally tried this I was able to get the deodorant off of my clothes – preventing me from having to change my outfit. I used to try to dab the spots with water, but that never seemed to work, and I only ended up wet.

Here are some tips on How to Dress Well for Less.
