I'm Loving Craigslist

I posted my first ever "for sale" items on Craigslist on Thursday...and they all sold within a few hours! That was $41 in my pocket.

Today I posted several other items that have been in our basement collecting dust...and I have already sold 3 of those items for another $20 in my pocket! (well not literally yet).

Either I am asking way too little for these items, or this is a great way to sell stuff! I am a little behind the curve on stuff like this (I have never posted on eBay or anything like that either)....but I think I am going to become an addict if this keeps up!

For about 30 minutes of my time (taking pictures and posting items) I have made $61. Woohooo! :) That helps take a little bit of the sting out of my wasteful week anyway...

Update on Sunday 4/13: I am up to a total of $67 now! :)

I should've done this with the items I neglected to actually get to my parents yard sale last year! Maybe when we get to our garage cleanup this year I'll do this!!

Congratulations! I've heard a lot of good things about Craigslist. I'm getting ready to list some items for the first time. I hope I have as much luck as you did!

I have never used Craiglist. Maybe I need to look into it. I know when I started Ebay I was hooked and I was selling anything and everything I could.. (lol)

I love craigslist, too! We sold our washer/dryer, stove, and a bunch of other misc. stuff from the kitchen remodel very quickly, too. It definitely is better than ebay b/c it's free!

It is so easy to use!! You should try it out!

For me, I have found (so far) that meeting up in a public place somewhere makes me feel safer. And I don't give out my last name.

Good luck! :)
