My CVS Deals for the Week

by Marcy on March 3, 2008 · 0 comments

Today I spent $15.45 out of pocket for approximately $70 worth of stuff! And I still have ECBs left to spend. Here is what I did…

Transaction #1:
* 2 Garnier Face Wash $5.99 /ea; I used 2-$1/1 coupons from today’s paper
* 6 Bags of Hershey’s Kisses** – 4 were $0.99/ea, 2 were $2.99/ea; I used 2-$1.50/3 coupons from today’s paper or you can print some here
* 2 Swiffer Refills $5.99/ea; I used 1-$1/2 coupon from paper

I used a $5/15 CVS coupon – learn how to get one here. (Note that once you get this, it is in a PDF file on your computer and you can print multiples. You can only use 1 per transaction though.)

I used $16 in ECBs from a previous visit.

Total OP = $7.10
ECBs Earned: $10 ($5 from Swiffer refills, $5 from Garnier)

**I just realized that I messed up my Hershey’s deal! (guess it pays to review your receipts!) I am $0.06 short for the $5 in ECBs, so it looks like I’ll be going back this week to get something cheap to earn my $5!

Transaction #2:

1 Venus Embrace Razor $9.99/ea; I used a $4/1 coupon from today’s paper
2 12 pack Duracell AA batteries $8.99/ea; I used 2-$0.75/1 coupons from today’s paper

I used a $5/15 CVS coupon – learn how to get one here.
I used the $10 in ECBs from Transaction #1

Total OP = $8.35
ECBs Earned: $11 ($6 from razor, $5 from batteries)

Trip Summary:

Total OP: $15.45
Total ECBs Earned: $11 (soon to be $16 when I complete the Hershey’s deal)
