Did you know that if you have a Best Buy Reward Zone card and if you buy 2 or more printer cartridges in one transaction that you get 1 pack of printer paper (up to $9.99) FREE?
I had no idea, and just happened to stumble upon this offer when shopping there tonight. I was pretty excited because my ink cartridges aren't any more expensive at Best Buy than I have seem them elsewhere.
I don't have many specifics on this deal other than what I have stated. It appeared to be something that they run all of the time and not a "sale", but be sure to check your local stores for more info.
We originally went to Best Buy to purchase additional memory for our PC...we thought about buying a new one, but we still have plenty of storage and our main complaint was that it was running slow. For $59.99 we were able to purchase 1 GB of Memory...on sale from $126.99. It sounded like a deal...I hope it was. We went to the store to buy 512 MB for $59.99, so I do know that we walked out with twice as much memory for the same price...and that works for me.
With our unexpected dishwasher purchase this week, I am happy that this seems to have put off our purchase of a new PC for a few more years (barring a catastrophe). I am glad that we sat down and actually thought of alternatives before going out and buying a whole new system. We have tended to be a bit impulsive with major purchases in the past, and are finally seeing the value of stopping and taking a breath before diving in head first. I hope that doesn't mean that we are getting old! :)

I think the best place to buy computer hardware is www.newegg.com. They are super fast and cheap!! If you haven't installed yours yet -- you can get 1GB for about $20.
Neat - I should sign up for reward zones, but haven't yet. I have to make time to do that.
Anon. - thanks for the tip on newegg.com...can't wait to check it out! :)
