My CVS Deals for the Week

by Marcy on February 4, 2008 · 0 comments

Thanks to Crystal’s site, I am continuing to have pretty good luck at CVS. Below is what I was able to get this week.

I spent $14.93 out of pocket for the items above, and earned $23.99 in ECBs to use in the future. While still not as good as some of those CVS pros out there, I am still really happy with this. I am continuing to focus on buying only what we need or will use, so I don’t always get the “best” deals, but they are still great deals to us. My total was $45.92 before coupons.

Here is a breakdown of how I did this:

* 2 Excedrin – on sale $6.99/ea, used 2 – $3/1 coupons from newspaper inserts
* Irish Spring Body Soap – on sale $3.99 – used 1 – $0.50/1 coupon from yesterday’s paper
* Soft Soap Body Soap – $3.99 – used 1 – $1/1 coupon from yesterday’s paper
* 3 Pack Irish Spring Soap – on sale $1.50 – used $0.30/1 coupon from yesterday’s paper
* Soft Soap Hand Soap – on sale $1.50 – used $0.35/1 coupon from yesterday’s paper
* 2 Neutrogena Acne Washes – $6.89/ea
* 1 Neutrogena Soap – $3.19
* 1 Garnier Fructis Shampoo – on sale $3.99 – used $1/1 coupon from yesterday’s paper

I also used $5/$30 and $3/$15 CVS store coupons that expired yesterday, plus $16 in ECB’s that I had earned over the last couple of weeks.

I earned $23.99 in new ECB’s with these deals:

$10 for Excedrin
$5 for Neutrogena
$3.99 for Garnier Fructis
$5 for Softsoap and Irish Spring Items

Be sure to check out Crystal’s site for the full scoop on how to save money at CVS. And no, she is not paying me to say that…I just REALLY love her site! :)
