Kroger Deals 2/4-2/10/08

by Marcy on February 5, 2008 · 0 comments

I am late posting deal ideas for Kroger this week, mostly because I don’t really see many! After 2-3 weeks of great sales, promos, and Super Double Coupons, this week’s ad is pretty boring. Of course this could be because I have used up a lot of my coupons for the month already. Well that and the fact that I don’t really need/want any of the items on sale this week.

That being said, here is what I could scrounge up:

* Campbell’s Tomato & Chicken Noodle Soup being on sale 20/$10 or $0.50/ea. With a $0.40/4 coupon from the newspaper, these would be $0.30/ea after the coupon doubles. Even if you don’t need this, you could buy a couple of cans and donate them to a local food bank.

* If you like Lean/Hot Pockets, they are on sale 6/$10 and if you use a $1/3 coupon from the paper you can get these for $1.33/ea.

* White or Red Seedless Grapes are $0.99/lb.

Something I have been meaning to mention for awhile…Have you ever noticed that oftentimes, when Kroger is running a “sale” on half gallons of milk, that it is more expensive to buy 2 half gallons than one gallon? I suppose this is no big deal if you only need one half gallon, but I wanted to mention this just in case you (like me) always check to see if 2 half gallons on sale would be cheaper than one gallon.

What deals do you see? Or have you been in the store this week and found any great sales that aren’t advertised? Please feel free to comment if so!
