CVS Steals!!

Thankfully I check Crystal’s blog every day, or I would have missed these CVS deals. Right now, CVS is clearancing many of their January “monthly” ECB items, hopefully to make room for their Febrary deals. That means that many of these items are now 50% off, plus you still earn ECB’s for buying them. Thankfully, there were still many deals I hadn’t taken advantage of. And thankfully, I discovered a CVS tucked away in a strip mall about 10 minutes from my house that had TONS of these products left! This is going to be my “new” CVS from now on by the way. So here is what I was able to do…

Transaction 1

2, 26 ct packs of Huggies Supreme Diapers – sale 8.88/ea, used $2/1, $1.25/1 coupons from here
2 Huggies Natural Care Baby Wash – sale 2.99/ea, used 2- $1.25/1 coupons from newspaper
1 Huggies 80 ct Wipes – sale 2.99/ea, used 1-$0.75/1 coupon from newspaper
4 Soy Joy Bars – $1/ea, used 2 B1G1 coupons from newspaper
1 Value Pack Cottonelle Toilet Paper- 50% off – 4.99/ea, used $0.50/1 coupon from newspaper
1 3 Pack Dial Foaming Hand Soap – 50% off – 3.49/ea, used $0.30/1 coupon from newspaper
1 Johnson’s Value Pack of Baby Lotion – 50% off – 2.99/ea

I used $4/20, $3/15, $2/10 coupons from here and $12 in ECBs from a previous purchase.

Total Out of Pocket was $11.82

I earned $15 in new ECBs ($5 for $25 in Huggies, $4 for Soy Joy, $2 for Cottonelle, $2 for Dial Soap & $2 for Johnson’s Lotion)

Transaction 2

3 Value Packs Cottonelle Toilet Paper- 50% off – 4.99/ea
1 45 ct box of CVS Trash Bags (no sale, I just needed these) – 6.29

I used 1 $2/10 coupon from here
I used the $15 in ECBs that I had just earned

Total Out of Pocket was $4.55
I earned $6 in new ECBs ($2 for each Cottonelle)

This is one of my best trips yet! I’m now looking at getting a few more things to build up my ECBs again…but am trying to minimize what I am spending out of pocket. Well that and I am only buying what we either currently need or will use.

I could have spent less out of pocket if I had another $4/20 coupon with me (for transaction #2), or coupons for the Johnson’s lotion and Cottonelle. But overall, I’m super happy with my trip today. :)

I may make one more trip this week depending on what coupons I can find online. Will keep you posted!
